To fully enjoy the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu 2 Day Tour, it is recommended to spend at least one day acclimatizing in Cusco before starting the trip. Although this tour does not involve strenuous hiking, the region is located at high altitude.

Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes, as you will explore several archaeological sites throughout the Sacred Valley. A light jacket is recommended because the weather can change during the day.

Travelers should bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to protect themselves from the strong Andean sun. Carrying a small backpack with water, snacks, and personal essentials will make the tour more comfortable.

Don’t forget your camera to capture the breathtaking landscapes of the Sacred Valley and the unforgettable experience of visiting Machu Picchu.

It is also important to bring your original passport, as it is required to enter Machu Picchu.

The tour includes: transportation from Cusco, all entrance tickets, a professional guide, train and bus tickets, and one-night hotel stay.

Meals, tourist tickets for the Sacred Valley, tips, travel insurance, personal expenses, and any additional tours are not included.

Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring sunscreen, a hat, water, and a camera. Also, pack light rain gear, just in case.

Day 1 starts at 8 am and finishes with your arrival in Aguas Calientes in the evening. Day 2 begins early, around 5:30 am, and ends with your return to Cusco by 7 pm.

After the guided tour, you’ll have time to explore Machu Picchu freely. However, stay within the allowed areas and follow the site’s regulations.

Yes, the train ride to Aguas Calientes and the return trip to Ollantaytambo are included in the tour price.

  Outworldly beauty Long hike but well worth the effort. The experience was very nice and the staff right from the booking till driving me back to my hotel were incredibly nice and helpful. I did fel a bit shirt of breath as we got closer to the lake but the guide was quick to assist me and accompanied me all the way up to the lake ensuring that i did not have any issue. They did have an option of renting a horse but i didn´t feel it quite needful as the hike was through beautiful sites and i did have plenty of stop along the way to click photos. Would highly recommend spending a few days and acclimatizing well before doing the trek.
