Terms & Conditions — Machu Picchu 360 Experiences

When choosing a program, please review these terms and conditions carefully, as your booking will be governed by them. Making a payment for any program or trip through Machu Picchu 360 Experiences indicates your acceptance of, and agreement to comply with, these terms, which apply to all tours.

General Information

Itinerary changes may be necessary due to weather, river conditions, or group preferences. Machu Picchu 360 Experiences is not responsible for any loss of or damage to personal property, or for any consequences arising from such loss or damage. We are not liable for illnesses or accidents related to the tour, and any resulting expenses shall be covered by the client. Clients are also responsible for any borrowed equipment and must compensate for any damage or loss before returning to Cusco. Clients must confirm that they are physically and mentally fit to participate, and Machu Picchu 360 Experiences assumes no responsibility for any inaccuracies in these confirmations.

Booking Process

Please contact us for guidance before making any payment. To reserve your preferred program, a non-refundable deposit of 50% per participant is required. Completing your payment constitutes a binding agreement with Machu Picchu 360 Experiences, and your booking will be confirmed upon our written acknowledgment of receipt.

For the initial 50% deposit, accepted payment methods include Western Union, PayPal, and other online options. Clients are responsible for any bank or transfer fees.

Final Balance Payment

All prices are quoted in US dollars. Please pay the remaining balance at our office at least one day before your tour, in Peruvian soles, US dollars, or by Visa (subject to an 8% processing fee). The per-person price agreed upon at the time of booking remains fixed.

Cancellation by the Client

To cancel, please send written notice to Machu Picchu 360 Experiences. The initial deposit is non-refundable. We recommend checking your travel insurance policy for possible cancellation coverage.

Cancellations made more than 15 days before departure result in the forfeiture of 50% of the deposit. For cancellations made between 7 and 15 days before departure, if full payment has been made, 50% of the total cost will be refunded. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours before departure, or for partial tour cancellations.

Modifications or Cancellations by Us

In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as technical issues, adverse weather conditions, strikes, government actions, or civil unrest, Machu Picchu 360 Experiences will endeavor to provide alternative arrangements or equivalent trips; no refunds will be issued in these cases. Itinerary adjustments may be necessary, but we will make every effort to maintain the agreed-upon services.

Significant changes will be communicated before your trip, and comparable alternative plans will be offered. Any additional costs arising from these changes shall be borne by the client. We cannot compensate for expenses such as international flights, visas, vaccinations, or similar costs.

If Machu Picchu 360 Experiences cancels a tour, a full refund will be provided.

Acknowledgment of Potential Risks

Our tours are designed to offer authentic experiences, which by their nature may involve risks including injury, emotional distress, or even death. By joining a tour, participants acknowledge these risks and confirm that they are in good health and physically prepared. Machu Picchu 360 Experiences is not liable for accidents or injuries.

Tour Leadership

The guide or company representative holds final authority on all matters concerning the safety and well-being of the group. Following their instructions is mandatory, as is compliance with Peruvian drug laws. Any behavior that compromises the safety of the group may result in removal from the tour without refund.

Required Documentation

A valid passport is required. We recommend carrying the original or a copy with you during all excursions.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering accidents, medical expenses, emergency repatriation, trip interruptions, and luggage loss.

Third-Party Providers

Machu Picchu 360 Experiences partners with various entities, such as airlines and hotels, to deliver a complete experience. These independent third-party providers are not under our control, and we are not responsible for any delays or inconveniences they may cause.

Claims and Complaints

If any issues arise with our services, please notify your guide immediately. Any subsequent complaints must be submitted to the company in writing within one week after the tour.

All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in Cusco, Peru, in accordance with Peruvian law. Claims against Machu Picchu 360 Experiences are limited to the value of the item in dispute, excluding indirect losses or loss of profit opportunities.
